This event is a studio visit, demonstration, and conversation with furniture designer and maker Thomas Lentini. Inviting audiences into Lentini’s making spaces and processes, the event will start off with a studio tour and demonstration showcasing Lentini’s skills in bridging the divide between human and environment through meaningful design objects. Following the tour, Craft will unpack the power of creative commissions and the importance of small-scale bespoke production within the design ecology through a conversation with Lentini.

Thomas Lentini
Thomas Lentini is a bespoke furniture maker and designer specialising in solid timber dining tables. His designs draw inspiration from architecture, nature, and his materials to create direct and meaningful heirloom pieces that respond to an intended space or end user. Thomas holds an Associate Degree in Furniture Design (2012) and a Diploma in Furniture Design and Technology (2011) from RMIT University.Since launching Studio Thomas Lentini in 2017, his clients have included Angle, Arent & Pyke, Cohen Leigh Architects, Double Monk Sydney, Flack Studio, Homeroom Studio, Karen Abernethy Architects, Kennedy Nolan, Lovell Burton Architects, Louis Vuitton Australia, Modern Times, Nat Turnbull, Neil Hugh Office, Nicole Bell Design, Rob Kennon Architects, Robson Rak, Simone Haag, Therefore Studio and Travis Walton Architecture.
