Explore the evolving symbolism of red in response to time, context and culture in a talk with design studio The Company You Keep and colour theorist Jane Boddy as they unpack the universal and transient messages encoded in Red and its influence on perception and behaviour. The talk is partnered with an exhibition of red materiality and form curated by OIGĂ…LL PROJECTS including objects from Brud Studia, Cordon Salon, Anna Varandorff, Olivia Bossy, Henry Wilson and more. Red is the first chapter in Applied Semiotics by The Company You Keep, a research project that examines the etymology of semiotic codes across culture and design.
