It showcases the architectural and interior design elements including artwork, specialty rugs and furniture that represents a distinct national identity through celebrating Australia’s rich Indigenous heritage and vibrant diaspora communities. The architecture and interior spaces draw inspiration from the Australian landscape and have been crafted with sustainable materials, while embodying a future-forward aesthetic and informality. By celebrating artists and makers from across Australia and how their works relate to the embassy, this exhibition reflects on the prospect of an evolving national design identity.
