These Three Books

Commoners Press presents a public print workshop on the theme of healing, replenishing and rebalancing. This workshop invites participants to create their own work in response to the theme.

Participants will use three different materials – metal type, graphic wooden blocks and printable LEGO elements – to create a shared letterpress artefact.

This workshop will include up to fourteen participants and result in a short print run of an octavo format chapbook.

The chapbooks will be printed and bound during the workshop.

Commoners Press will also hold this workshop at Ballarat’s historic Mining Exchange in early May as part of Craft and Design Week Ballarat.

As a result of this workshop and the two workshops held in Ballarat, the result will reveal three books, each comprising sixteen pages and forty-two individual responses to design themes.
