Taking Shape brings together works from over twenty Australian artists and designers. Presented by Weston Rumbold Art Projects (WRAP) and Est., the exhibition reflects on contemporary design as an active part of daily life – something to inhabit, encounter and negotiate.

Across furniture, small objects, textiles, art, lighting and spatial intervention, Taking Shape highlights how Australian practitioners are reshaping the relationship between utility, aesthetics and social responsibility, featuring artists working across both traditional and unconventional design languages and rethinking the lifecycle of form.

Repurposed materials and sustainable making processes sit alongside refined craft techniques and architectural fabrication. Circularity and sustainability recur, as a methodology of practice that evolves design languages that endure.

Artists include: Amanda Dziedzic, Anne U, Benjamin Baldwin, Billy Horn, Brendan Huntley, Caro Pattle, Claire Ellis, denHolm, Emma Shepherd, Forma(ea), Hannah Hall, Jay Jermyn, Jeremy Blincoe, Jonathan Ben‑Tovim, Lisa Waup, Luke Day, Makiko Ryujin, Rick Hayward, Simone Tops, Studio Flek, Two Lines Studio.

Curated by WRAP with exhibition design by Sora Interior Architecture and Design.
