This studio tour invites visitors to explore Tree Paper Gallery, a workshop and print studio located in Melbourne’s iconic Nicholas Building. Tree Paper Gallery has been operating for the past ten years, working with hundreds of artists.
During the tour, visitors gain a behind-the-scenes look, with the opportunity to ask questions, take photos and see how Tree Paper operates as an independent micro-publisher.
Visitors will:
- view hundreds of Risograph artworks from local and international artists.
- watch a demonstration of the Risograph printing process.
- receive a small pack of Risograph works, including a colour chart and a two-colour print.

Tree Paper Gallery
Tree Paper Gallery is an independent gallery, workshop space and printer of Australasian comics, zines and art books based in the Nicholas Building, Room 512, on Swanston St, Melbourne. It was formed by Samuel Emery to support local emerging and established cartoonists, writers and artists. Tree Paper prints primarily using Riso technology.
