South Drawn Open Studio: A Behind-The-Scenes Look At Local Lighting Design

South Drawn is a design studio and workshop where creativity and craftsmanship come together to create unique lighting. Run by brothers Luke and Christian Mills, the studio designs and assembles everything in-house, working closely with local manufacturers and artisans to produce custom components.

As part of Melbourne Design Week, Christian is opening the doors for a behind-the-scenes look at how South Drawn brings its designs to life. Visitors can explore the studio and workshop, see the process in action, and get a feel for the materials and techniques that shape each piece. A selection of South Drawn’s core range, new products, and custom pieces will be set up for visitors to experience up close.

Tours will run for three days only, with limited spots available — booking in advance is essential.
