In ReCycle, Återvinna presents a collection of furniture that explores the transformative potential of recycled Australian hardwoods. Each piece is crafted with a deep commitment to sustainability, repurposing discarded materials into functional and sculptural objects. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms found in nature, Återvinna merges contemporary Scandinavian aesthetics with enduring craftsmanship, offering works that challenge conventional notions of luxury and material value.

ReCycle invites visitors to reconsider the life cycle of materials, emphasising the transformative potential of waste. The exhibition celebrates design as an act of repair, transforming raw materials into enduring pieces that integrate functionality and form.

Återvinna
Återvinna is a design studio founded by Ciaran Custance and Sophie Lavis, exploring the intersection of form, function, and sustainability. Drawing on Custance’s expertise in furniture making and Lavis’ background in fashion, their work reimagines the potential of recycled and sustainably sourced materials. Guided by a philosophy of conscious design, Återvinna challenges conventional notions of luxury, creating pieces that evoke a sense of timeless beauty while prompting reflection on the role of design in shaping a more sustainable future.
