Navigating Clayton’s Sustainable Future is a public PhD exhibition shown on Level 1 of the Caulfield campus library at Monash University. It presents a practice-based design research project that explores how a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) digital platform could help international student drivers reach Monash University’s Clayton campus with fewer private-car trips, within a net zero precinct transition.
Visitors encounter a mixed physical and digital installation, including large-format signposts, visual artefacts mapping commuting stages and an interactive prototype accessed via a screen and QR codes.
Prompts invite visitors to reflect on the everyday barriers that shape suburban travel in Melbourne/Naarm and to consider how integrated mobility services and incentives could make lower-car travel feel easier and more realistic.
