Join Parlour and the Melbourne School of Design for a salon-style conversation with artist and designer Catherine Griffiths, within the space of the exhibition Catherine Griffiths: Out of Line.

This intimate conversation will explore the commitments, concerns and contexts that motivate Catherine’s extraordinary body of work and its engagement with public life. Catherine has collaborated with Parlour since its inception in 2012, and her work has been fundamental to its impact and activity. This thought-provoking discussion is an opportunity to delve into the larger context of her practice, advocacy and activism, while surrounded by her work.

As with all Parlour events, this session is also an opportunity for convivial connection and meaningful engagement between and among attendees.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with ideas that challenge conventions and expand perspectives on design.

Presented by the Melbourne School of Design, with the support of the Melbourne Art Book Fair and the Victorian College of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne. Curated by Ela Egidy and Megan Patty.
