Step inside Moose Toys for an immersive, hands-on experience – arguably the most playful event of Melbourne Design Week 2026.

At Moose, we’re in the business of making kids Superhappy – but behind every moment of play is a world of creativity, experimentation, and hands-on design. From our Melbourne HQ, our team brings to life some of the world’s most loved toy brands, including Bluey, Little Live Pets, Shopkins, Mr Beast Lab, Gui Gui and Magic Mixies, reaching families in over 100 countries.

In this year’s Open House, you’ll experience:

• Hands On: Toys – test, customise and play with some of Moose’s most innovative brands, with exclusive event-only gifts
• Hands On: Processes – see our designers in action through live demos, from sketching and prototyping to cutting-edge AI tools
• Hands On: History – remember Mighty Beanz? Trash Pack? The original Moose Yo-Yo? Play with iconic Moose Toys of yester-year
• Hands On: Conversations – short, sharp talks from our award-winning creative team, sharing real insights into processes, challenges and breakthroughs

Hosted at Moose Toys’ global headquarters in Melbourne, this event is curated for creative professionals, students, emerging designers and play enthusiasts alike. In the spirit of Melbourne Design Week’s call to action – Design the world you want – we believe that world should be Playful. This is your opportunity to engage directly with the People, Processes and Play behind one of Australia’s most successful global design stories.

Ticket proceeds will be donated to the Moose Happy Kids Foundation charity partner Clown Doctors Australia – celebrating more than 15 years of partnership with Moose Toys.
