Jeremy Stimson
Jeremy is the Capability Lead for Experience Design, directing the design team to ensure best practice is applied to all product touch points. Jeremy provides a key role in transforming commercial goals and user needs into refined concepts and product road maps through stakeholder engagement, user research and the facilitation of co-creation workshops. Jeremy is a design strategist with over 20 years' experience developing products and services in the fields of medical, consumer and FMCG.

Bec Bartel
Bec brings 25 years of experience in product design, development and manufacturing across medical devices, life sciences, FMCG, consumer products, and automotive. Having worked across Australia and the United States, she has successfully led many complex projects, drawing on her deep expertise in plastics manufacturing, tooling, and design for excellence (DFx) to deliver exceptional product outcomes. Her extensive background in both client and supplier roles provides valuable insights into the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to commercial implementation.

Cam Phillips
Cam is a Principal Designer on the Experience Design team, with 15 years’ experience leading multidisciplinary teams across finance, video games, medical technology and disability education. Cam plays a pivotal role in developing interactive digital training solutions and virtual product tours, enhancing engagement and ensuring users — from clinicians to consumers — can intuitively understand and interact with complex products. Cam is passionate about exploring emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling.

Taylor Zhou
Taylor has spent a decade designing and developing innovative physical and digital experiences for the health-tech, automotive and consumer product industry. Taylor is currently a Senior Industrial and Digital Experience Designer at Planet Innovation where he is responsible for leading the end-to-end user experience for products and services for some of the world’s leading biomedical and hi-tech companies. His empathetic problem-solving methodology is supported by a strong design sensitivity and appreciation for culture and context. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Industrial Design from Monash University.

Joshua Marshall
Joshua is an experienced industrial designer with a strong focus on the impact products have on users, as well as the ecosystems they interact within. He endeavours to ensure that each product he works on is honest, unobtrusive, and understandable. As a designer who has worked across research, automotive, and medical products, Josh brings a diverse skill set that bridges conceptual thinking with practical execution. His approach is grounded in a deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and human-centred design principles, ensuring that every solution is both innovative and feasible.

Julian Alexander
Julian is a Senior Digital Experience Designer at Planet Innovation, with almost 15 years’ experience delivering useful, usable and beautiful design outcomes for clients and end users across multiple industries. Julian has designed and optimised UX and UI experiences across mobile applications, web, in-built touchscreen interfaces, and wearables. From facilitation of initial discovery workshops to handover collaboration with software teams, Julian’s ability to visually communicate as a filter between complex technology and end-user goals helps de-risk development and aligns the project team to ensure a successful product delivery for both client and end-user.

Nicholas Booker
Nicholas is a Principal Industrial Designer at PI, focusing on leading projects and mentoring designers to ensure products are designed beautifully, with the user in mind, manufacturable and developed holistically within the broad engineering groups. Nicholas has over 20 years’ experience as an Industrial Designer across a range of markets, including medical devices, consumer electronics and FMCG. He has a key focus on how the product user and product style merges to be successful.

Chris Simmons
Chris is the Human Factors & Usability Engineering Lead at Planet Innovation. He has over 16 years of experience in researching, designing, and validating safe and effective products, systems, and environments. With a background in industrial design, ergonomics, safety, and health, he ensures user needs are integrated into system designs for optimal performance. He has led designs across diverse sectors, from medical devices to transport systems and the built environment. Through scientific methodologies and collaboration, Chris delivers practical, high-performance solutions that enhance usability, safety, and overall efficiency.

Tom Galletley
With 15 years of experience in product design, Tom is a seasoned Senior Consultant specialising in creating impactful, user-centered design solutions. As a key leader in the design team, Tom ensures that best practices are consistently applied across all product touch points, delivering seamless and engaging user experiences. He excels in transforming commercial objectives and user needs into innovative concepts and comprehensive product roadmaps, leveraging stakeholder engagement, in-depth user research, and collaborative co-creation workshops. Tom’s expertise spans various industries, including medical, consumer goods, transport and furniture where he has successfully developed and refined products and services that drive business growth and user satisfaction.

Amelda Norsworthy
Amelda is an Associate Industrial Designer at Planet Innovation, bringing over two years of experience to the team. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional visualization skills, Amelda plays a pivotal role in aligning stakeholders and bringing clients’ visions to life. By collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, they enrich designs and elevate their impact across every stage of development, ensuring that innovative solutions are not only functional but also impactful.

Berber de Moel
Berber is an Experience Designer. Her practice is multifaceted and expansive, delivering strategic design outputs throughout each product development phase for regulated and non-regulated medical devices. Berber closely collaborates with clients and PI's multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver user-centric products that address the key market needs of clinicians, patients and technicians alike. From product market fit (PMF) and workshop facilitation, to usability engineering and UI design, Berber retells the industry's narrative through the creation of effective visual communication tools and novel designs.

Lou Lakey
Lou is a Visual and Motion Designer with a hands-on and head-first approach to design. She is passionate about using great design as a problem-solving tool to help product owners communicate seamlessly with their end users. Over the last four years with Planet Innovation, Lou has honed a diverse skillset spanning Animation, Video & Photography, Print and Web Design. She believes in creating products that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly.

Sam Lanyon
Sam is an innovative and strategic business leader with significant experience in strategy, sales, and operations with a successful track record in the global commercialisation of technology-rich products. Previously, Sam was the International Sales Director of Vision Biosystems where he was responsible for establishing the sales, marketing, customer support, and service operation throughout the EU, Middle East, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
