ACCESS
Design & Technologies Week 2026 is a time for schools to celebrate this dynamic, challenging and essential subject, where students learn to become the creative problem solvers of the future. This program aims to raise awareness of the design industry in Victoria and encourage young people to pursue future study and careers in this field.
How schools participate is up to them. Teachers can browse our resource bank for ideas for activities, lessons, excursions and incursions. Schools might run a design challenge with regular classes or tutor groups, present an exhibition of student design work, hold a design quiz with colleagues, or run a design-themed school assembly.
Schools are encouraged to participate in events and activities as part of their celebrations. This is an opportunity to immerse students in the potential of design to address global issues and raise awareness of the importance of design education within the wider school community.
Please visit the DATTA Victoria website for registration, events, activities and resources.
