R L Foote Design Studio opens its Clifton Hill factory for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour.
Step inside a working porcelain studio where bespoke tableware, lighting and large-scale art commissions are designed, moulded and cast entirely in-house. Across two levels of active production, visitors will experience the full lifecycle of a ceramic object — from liquid slip to plaster mould, from hand-finished cast to high-fired transformation in the kiln.
Move beyond the finished object to experience the process of making, witnessing the rhythm, precision and heat that shape porcelain.
