Cult Design presents an exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Series 7 chair by Fritz Hansen. Designed by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in 1955, this iconic piece has become a symbol of Danish design philosophy, blending aesthetics, ergonomics, and material integrity. The Series 7, affectionately known as the Sevener, remains one of the best-selling and most cherished chairs in modern furniture design.
In the exhibition, discover the evolution of the Series 7 chair, from its inception to its enduring popularity over seven decades along with the 7:14 AM limited edition Series 7 chairs, featuring a palette inspired by the ethereal Danish light. The five exclusive colours — 7:14 AM Green, Beige, Pink, Violet, and Blue — reflect the serene hues of an early morning sky in autumn.
Join Cult on Wednesday, 21st of May, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a special event celebrating the 70 years of this design icon. Enjoy an evening of food and drinks as they honour the legacy of the Series 7™ chair and its impact on modern design. Dario Reicherl, CEO Asia of FRITZ HANSEN, will be present at the event.
