189 Toorak Road Site Tour

Experience the in-progress redevelopment by SOM of 189 Toorak Road – a reimagining and expansion of the former South Yarra Coffee Palace that breathes new life into the 19th-century structure, transforming it into a mixed-use destination within a vibrant retail district.

With commentary from the design team (SOM) and builders (Ironside) offering glimpses into the design and construction process, participants will experience a guided tour through the construction site and a rare perspective on the transformation of a historic site in Melbourne’s inner South.

Please note: as 189 Toorak Road is an active construction site the tour will involve steps and stairs that may present challenges to people with limited mobility. Please consider this before securing a ticket. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Hard hats and high-vis vests will be provided on-site on the day.
