The Artbank Collection holds many stories of fishing, woven through the collection. Catch: Stories of First Nations fishing from the Artbank Collection showcases selected works of cultural significance including bark paintings, ḻarrakitj and woven fibre-works, which feature the ingenuity of functional objects like fish and eel traps through to sacred sea maps.

This exhibition brings innovative design and stories of First Nations people to the surface, celebrating art, culture and design – lived and practiced for tens of thousands of years.
