Typography is more than a tool for communication: it is an intangible thread that weaves together history, culture, society and technology. As humans move deeper into a world driven by screen and transformation, typography becomes a canvas where tradition meets innovation. What new form might bilingual typography take in this evolving landscape? Can it become a bridge between worlds, opening doors to deeper mutual understanding, and nurture transcultural dialogue?

Fusion of Forms is a series of multimedia installations that explore innovations in bilingual typography. Combining dynamic visuals with interactive elements, the project examines the fusion of two distinct typographic systems: English and Chinese. By deconstructing and integrating elements from both languages, Fusion of Forms reveals the richness of cultural interaction, demonstrates typography’s potential to transcend linguistic boundaries, and inspires new cultural narratives. The series invites audiences to reflect on their own linguistic experiences, fostering dialogue and promoting deeper understanding in bilingual and multicultural contexts.
