Nau Design in partnership with Artedomus presents a one-off collaborative exhibition for Melbourne Design Week. This exhibition, which unveils Nau Design’s latest furniture collection crafted by esteemed Australian designer Tom Fereday, will take place within a rarely-seen urban warehouse space located in Flemington.
The exhibition sees Nau marry its contemporary Australian furniture pieces with Artedomus natural stones, renowned for their exquisite patterning and colour compositions. Each Nau furniture piece will speak to its natural stone counterpart in a dialogue of form, function and materiality, creating a visually captivating environment that highlights the furniture’s elegance and craftsmanship and reveals each stone’s natural formation – a visual and tactile story formed over many millennia.
Nau’s new collection features minimalist designs that emphasise functionality and aesthetic appeal. They are crafted with high-quality materials and meticulous attention to detail. Artedomus stone slabs are sourced from Artedomus’ exclusive Italian partners – their exceptional quality and one-of-a-kind markings/patterning making them a beautiful and interesting counterpart to the Nau collection.
The exhibition aims to inspire attendees with sustainable and innovative design solutions that enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of living and working spaces. It will also provide an opportunity to meet the designers, learn about their creative process, and network with industry professionals and design enthusiasts.
