Furniture Unrestrained: THE DEBUT OF ESCULTURA

Presented by Nitsou x Mo and Bishop Master Finishes, ESCULTURA is a new approach to furniture design and fabrication. Through an inspired collaboration, ESCULTURA is environmentally considerate, regenerative and hand made in Melbourne for all sectors of the design industry. A furniture solution that challenges the status quo of material sourcing and production. Locally made furniture that is durable, customisable and refuses to compromise the way we want to live by finding balance in function, beauty and luxury.

ESCULTURA FURNITURE is designed by Melbourne based design studio Nitsou x Mo. The substrates are constructed by Melbourne based furniture maker Moon Pool out of Victorian manufactured Hexcore Hemp. They are then hand-coated with richly coloured lime and micro-cement by Bishop Master Finishes.

The results are sculptural in form and liveable in functionality. The pieces are robust for everyday life and stand with longevity in mind. They are liveable sculptures that are luxurious, yet hard wearing that elevate both interior and exterior spaces through the harnessing of architectural materials.
