Dutoit presents Here & There, a solo exhibition for Melbourne Design Week, showcasing new furniture, lighting, and homeware collections designed and crafted in Australia. Framed by supporting contributions from Australian-based collaborators, the exhibition explores how local design emerges from ‘here’, while also being quietly shaped by international ideas and references from ‘there’.

The exhibition brings together Dutoit’s collections—including a new sculptural table lamp made from sustainably sourced walnut and a limited edition crafted from 100% locally sourced recycled plastic, as well as new homeware objects cast with a local foundry. These works are accompanied by commissioned or curated elements including a photographic series captured on the Sicilian island of Pantelleria, an animated furniture assembly sequence, a signature scented candle hand-blended and poured in Sydney, and a locally manufactured wool textile in a newly released colourway—each adding visual, sensory, or material depth to the space.

Through these elements, Here & There reflects on how Australian design is grounded in place, while being quietly shaped by ideas, references, and perspectives from elsewhere.

This exhibition continues through May 26-27 from 10am-5pm.
