Femme Brutale presents Sensual Living Systems™ at Ma House Supply Store.
Recently unveiled at Collectible Brussels, Sensual Living Systems™ unfolds in three parts: Sella – to sit; Tabula – to rest; and Volume – to interject.
Through a language of metaphor, volume and material, Femme Brutale creates objects that balance utility with beauty, playfulness with precision and starkness with warmth.
At Ma House Supply, Ben Mooney curates a selection of seating, lighting and functional sculpture within the beloved, faithfully trodden Johnston Street storefront in Collingwood. The deeply domestic setting offers an evolving, nostalgic backdrop for encountering the forms and poetics of Femme Brutale.
A departure from the cooler austerity of the gallery context, the installation invites connection and joy through an informal arrangement of playful, useful and intimate compositions.

Ben Mooney
Ben Mooney is a collector, curator and founder of Ma House Supply Store in Collingwood. He brings together furniture, lighting and everyday objects with an emphasis on material presence and lasting relevance.
