At Melbourne Design Week 2025 Tait will explore the concept of Regenerate through a series of sensory, experiential and educational installations.

The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of rejuvenating native grasslands, which have diminished to less than 1 percent of their natural coverage. Installations and events will communicate the benefits of these vital ecosystems, celebrate their rich diversity, and encourage their replenishing.

The exploration will be collaborative – a working ecosystem in itself. Collaborators include Alchemy Orange, a botanical design studio based on Kulin Country established in 2019 by Yorta Yorta woman Shahn Stewart; and Cristina Napoleone, a transdisciplinary artist-curator and researcher who founded TERRAIN, an initiative that creates playful physical and digital spaces to remind humans that they are embedded in a more-than-human world.

The conceptual theme of Regenerate will extend to a sneak peek of a new product. Longevity has been a focus for Tait for more than 30 years. This year, a new product range by Adam Goodrum will be launched that—like all Tait products—is designed to be refurbished.
